Beverly Lake Sewer Replacement Project Starting This Month

July 18, 2025

Everett Government

Construction of a replacement sewer line near Beverly Lake, along 75th Street, will begin this month.

This project replaces a section of an aging sewer line.

During maintenance work in 2012, it was determined the aging system should be replaced. The City began the process of evaluating, designing and funding the planned replacement project. A temporary fix was completed in 2012 to repair a break, but a permanent fix is required.

The full project is expected to take approximately six months and be completed by the fourth quarter of 2025.

This work is seasonally dependent during daytime hours. Typical work hours begin at 7:00 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m.

The project is locally funded by Everett Public Works.

How it Will Impact the Neighborhood

Those living in the area, including Shoreside Village, Lakeside Apartments and Beverly Lake Village will witness the work being performed during the day. At times the work will be noisy and disruptive.

Shoreside Village Apartments in Everett

There will be significant construction traffic during work hours. Traffic will enter from the west driveway of the Lakeside property. Traffic impacts will be mitigated by the contractor’s traffic control flaggers to allow access at all times.

Some parking will be unavailable during construction. The City of Everett and its contractor will coordinate with property management to mitigate parking impacts.

Intermittent work on 75th Street will require single-lane closures.
