The Everett Public Library has teamed up with Escape Everett to host a FREE, family-friendly, escape room-like experience.
The special event takes place this week at both libraries. Here’s the storyline:
The Key to the City of Everett has been stolen. We are seeking the public’s help to follow the suspect’s trail to discover the location of the missing key.
The fun puzzle-solving experience will last about 20 minutes, depending on your group and the location. Expect to be at the library for a half hour.
- Wednesday, July 9th, 2pm-5pm for the Evergreen Branch (9512 Evergreen Wy, Everett, WA 98204)
- Thursday, July 10th, 4pm-7pm for the Main Library (2702 Hoyt Ave, Everett, WA 98201)
We highly recommend registering in advance. You will pick your timeslot on the registration from. Drop-ins will only be able join if space becomes available.
The last groups of the day will kick off a half hour before the end times listed above. Keep in mind that the event is the same at both locations, so only sign up for one. Due to the size of the space, the downtown location may be more enjoyable.
Your group can be anywhere from 2 to 10 people. Again, we recommend registering your group in advance.
This Summer’s Everett Public Library Theme is Level Up with plenty of reading challenges from June 1st to August 31st.
