The second phase of the Port of Everett’s “Restaurant Row” is nearing completion, with substantial progress made across both buildings and site work.
The highly anticipated waterfront commercial development continues the Port’s broader vision of trans- forming the former industrial waterfront into a vibrant mixed-use destination.
“This project has really picked up momentum in the last month,” said Kellen Anable, Project Manager for Faber Construction.
“Building A6 is nearly complete, with interior and exterior finishes underway. Tenant spaces are ready, we’re just awaiting final power before we can finish trim work and commission the building. Building A12 is progressing through drywall and is on track to finish by the end of July.”
The development plays a key role in the Port’s long-term revitalization strategy, which includes apartments, a hotel, public spaces, and now an expanded lineup of waterfront restaurants and retail.
“This project is a major milestone in the Port’s vision,” Anable said. “It adds a great variety of commercial space for both residents and visitors, and the Port is understandably excited.”
Among the standout features is a striking wraparound deck on Building A12 that overlooks the water. “The views from that deck are amazing. It’s going to be a prime spot for a meal or happy hour—definitely a crowd pleaser,” Anable added.
Constructing the project in an active, high-traffic area has required careful coordination. With residences, businesses, and the popular Esplanade trail surrounding the site, Faber Construction has prioritized communication and collaboration with the community and project partners.
Anable highlighted the complexity of the build: “From high-end finishes to a 16,000+ page spec document, this has been a challenging and rewarding project. I’m proud of how our team has delivered, staying true to the con-tract and the Port’s expectations.”
Community interest remains high, with locals regularly stopping by to ask about progress and opening dates.
“People are excited,” Anable said. “You can tell these new restaurants are going to be a big draw.”
