GeekFest West is Back in Everett for the 2025 Edition

GeekFest West premiered last summer and is back for 2025. GeekFest West is an annual event in Downtown Everett with the intent of a 10-year staple in Everett. Last year GeekFest West drew in over 8,000 geeks.

GeekFest West celebrates Everything Geek™, including cosplay, board games, tabletop games, video games, gadgets, movies, art, collecting, and other geeky hobbies.

What: GeekFest West is a 3 day celebration of geekery in Everett

Where: Downtown Everett at Angel of the Winds Arena

When: July 18th to 20th

How: Prices are anywhere from $5 to $97 depending on how many days you’d like to go and what level of access. You can buy your tickets here.

GeekFest is three days of fun starting July 18th. with lots of different activities, including some with cash prizes. Here’s what’s in store for this year’s edition:

  • The Amazing Awesome Race – teams of 2 to 6 players will solve clues and complete challenges at 10 downtown locations all within a one-mile walking loop (Friday 3-5pm).
  • Cosmic Cosplay Contest – costumes of all kinds are welcome—from handmade armor and intricate sewing to screen-accurate replicas and creative original characters. (Saturday).
  • Galactic Timewarp – 9 classic movies will be shown including the premiere of “The Late Game.” This will be one of the last events at the Historic
  • Geekapalooza 2025 – Curated blocks of short films screening every 90 minutes from The 48 Hour Film Project.
  • Geekfest Arcade – an arcade with pinball cabinets, arcade games, claw machines and more.
  • GemQuest – a FREE, 12 part stamping adventure, which will help you discover new vendors, artists, and hidden corners of the con.
  • Board Game Demos – InDiPro Board Game Demos
  • Mario Kart World Tournament – $5 entry, tournament available all three days.
  • Cloud City AB&C Bookstore & Quiet Place – author signings, workshops, and more.
  • Paint & Take Miniature – no experience necessary.
  • Seattle Indies Booth – play some indy games.
  • Wrestling Event – “Mountain Kombat” presented by Peak Sports Entertainment
