Bus Hits Pedestrian on Evergreen Way

June 29, 2025

Police Blotter

The Everett Police Traffic Safety Unit responded to a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian in the 8500 block of Evergreen Way on Saturday evening.

It was an Everett Transit bus driving north on Evergreen Way near the Everett Transit bus stop #5125 between the Chevron and the former Bank of America building, just shy of Fred Meyer.

The pedestrian sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital. Three southbound lanes of Evergreen Way stayed closed for several hours for the investigation.

No further details were shared by Everett Police as it remains an active investigation.

This is the third time in two days of a vehicle vs pedestrian incident in Everett.

On Friday one pedestrian was hit by a car just north of Pacific Ave on Rucker Ave near the former location of Hope N Wellness.

Another pedestrian was hit at the Mariner Park and Ride at 13003 4th Ave W in Everett on Friday around 5pm.

It’s a good reminder for pedestrians to use crosswalks a look both ways. Drivers need to be cautious, yield to pedestrians, and be on high alert in areas with frequent jaywalkers.
