Everett ICE Raid Rumors Turned Out to Be a Drunk Driver

DUI Crash on Los Novillos Family Mexican Restaurant’s patio

Rumors were rapidly being spread online claiming ICE was raiding Everett near 41st and Rucker. All the action appeared to be happening in front of Los Novillos Family Mexican Restaurant.

The owners of Los Novillos quickly squashed those rumors:

We just want thank everyone that’s been asking about as we are good there was just a car accident in our patio unfortunately someone stole a vehicle under the influence and decided to park it in our patio😂

Thing we are taking everything with a good mood like we always try too. We will be open for business as per usual just unfortunately patio won’t be opening any time soon thank you for your support and preference.

In an earlier post, in Spanish, they told everyone to be calm. They warned it was not ICE, but a drunk Caucasian woman who was trying to elude officers after stealing a vehicle.

People driving up Rucker thought there was a raid.

They say the suspect committed a big crime in Seattle which crosses county lines and drew extra attention. In her attempts to evade officers, she tried to turn around at their restaurant and smashed into their patio, which will now be closed for some time.

Our best translation shows they also stated,

“I understand that it’s easy to assume with everything that’s going on right now but please inform yourself well before posting because they only cause fear in these difficult times we’re going through.

I want make this clear, NO ICE AGENTS can be found here in Everett. Feel free to come to our restaurant safely. Thank you for your understanding and take care everyone.”
