Local podcast host Brooks Smothers, creator of the popular Pacific Northwest RV lifestyle show “RV Out West”, has been announced as the new voice of “See America”, the acclaimed podcast that shares the captivating stories behind destinations across the American landscape.

Originally hosted by Jason and Abby Epperson of the RV Miles Network, See America went dormant in 2021 during the height of the pandemic. Now, the beloved series is making a triumphant return just in time for summer travel. The new season—presented in a fresh, ten-episode season format—will debut on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025, with new episodes dropping each Monday throughout the summer.

New “See America” Host, Brooks Smothers of Everett, WA.

With Smothers at the helm, See America will take listeners on a journey to discover some of the country’s most intriguing, offbeat, and iconic places.

From the world’s largest rattlesnake roundup in Texas, to the mysterious Integratron built with “instructions from aliens,” to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, and even to Centralia, Pennsylvania—a town that’s been burning underground for over 60 years—this season is packed with fascinating tales perfect for inspiring summer road trips.

“I’m honored to carry forward the legacy of See America,” said Smothers. “This show has always captured the wonder of the open road and the stories that make each stop along the way unforgettable. I can’t wait for listeners to hear what’s coming.”

The premiere episode will go live Memorial Day Monday—perfectly timed for travelers hitting the road or driving home from their long holiday weekend. Whether you’re road-tripping or just dreaming about your next adventure, See America is back to fuel your wanderlust.
