Old Dominion’s bringing their music straight to the fans. With their How Good Is That– World Tour, lead singer/guitarist Matthew Ramsey, guitarist/vocalist Brad Tursi, keyboard/vocalist Trevor Rosen and the rock-solid rhythm section of bassist Geoff Spring and drummer Whit Sellers are creating a night of music just for the people who know their music inside out.
With response to their amphitheater shows being so strong, the double record-setting Academy of Country Music 8x Group of the Year is ready to take it inside, adding eight additional arena shows to their North American routing, which includes Everett, WA at Angel of the Winds Arena.
“There’s a special kind of joy at shows that are built for the ODIES” Ramsey says. “They want the deep cuts. They want to sing with us and each other. They’re in deep, and we love it. When we were looking at this year’s tour, we love being outdoors. But there’s something about what happens when all that energy gets held inside a building.”
Joining Old Dominion for their How Good Is That – World Tour are fellow hit-writers and country groundbreakers ERNEST and Redferrin. With that spirit of finding the hook and setting it for maximum impact, the tour will bring nights of infectious music and good times.
Presale begins 10 a.m. Monday, May 19th. Fans can sign up for the presale at https://tour.weareolddominion.com/. General on-sale begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 22nd.
Old Dominion is also celebrating their current radio single “Coming Home,” reaching #12 on the charts. Their “Coming Home” music video was especially unique, featuring an amazing day playing for the service men and women, as seen here:
In celebration of May’s National Military Appreciation month, participating shows on the How Good Is That – World Tour are offering select tickets at special prices starting May 15th at 10 a.m. local, while supplies last.
Additionally, Old Dominion is donating a handful of tickets across the US tour dates to our nation’s heroes via VetTix.
Old Dominion will also partner with Propeller, the social impact platform, to support the work of Save the Music, which partners with public school districts to donate grants in the form of new musical instruments, technology, equipment, and resources for music teachers and school leaders. Grants provide opportunities for schools to jumpstart and support their music programs. Through Propeller, concertgoers can donate for the opportunity to win exclusive experiences throughout the How Good Is That – World Tour.
Old Dominion has been about going out, playing live and making people happy since the band of songwriters, singers and friends started playing dates in a used van. Successful writers with hits for Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Sam Hunt, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton and Kelsea
Ballerini, they have a sound that was forward-sweeping, melodically driven and fired by multiple guitars. Somewhere between country, rock and pop, OD found a singular sound – and have not looked back.
Currently working on their sixth album, the “Break Up With Him,” “Hotel Key,” “Written in the Sand,” “One Man Band” and “I Was On A Boat That Day” hitmakers’ How Good Is That – World Tour will take the affable musicians around the globe.
With a strong emphasis on harmonies, guitars and their “we’re all in this together” life view, Old Dominion has become a destination as much a collective of gifted artists who create a haven for people just trying to make the most out of whatever their day hands them.
