Three Ways to See the Everett Mayor’s State of the City

On Thursday, March 27th, 2025, the Greater Everett Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Everett State of the City event, which will feature Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin delivering her annual State of the City address.

Option 1: In Person

Last year it was held at the Everett Mall with lots of surprises, including an Everett Mall redesign and the possibility of Top Golf (a “couple of days” for an official announcement has turned into over a year).

The Mayor’s 2025 State of the City event will be held at APEX Everett starting at 4 p.m. on March 27th and event tickets are available here.

Option 2: Online

To ensure the Mayor’s State of the City address is accessible to the community, the city will livestream the speech and the full speech will be available on their website immediately after. Watch, read or listen to the full recorded speech on the City of Everett’s YouTube channel, Facebook or website after the event.
Read the speech as written on the City of Everett’s website.

Option 3: A “New event,” State of the City: Community Edition

The following week, consider joining the city for their FREE ‘State of the City: Community Edition’ event, which will be Monday, March 31st from 6-7:30 p.m. (doors open at 5:30) in the Weyerhaeuser Room at Everett Station.

Mayor Franklin will be providing a City update and then attendees are encouraged to learn more about different ways to get involved in the community like our Neighborhood Associations, Boards and Commissions, Community Watch and other volunteer opportunities.

The city will have representatives from several different city departments available to answer your questions as well.

Due to limited capacity, pre-registration is required. Reserve your free tickets.
