Dick’s Drive In Hosting Topping-Off Party for New Everett Location

Dick’s Drive In Everett location is Under Construction

The future Dick’s Drive In Restaurant in Everett, with an expected Summer 2025 opening date, is inviting the Everett community to their “Construction Topping Off Party.”

Here’s what Dick’s wrote in their announcement:

Dear Everett Community:

You are invited to join us and make your lasting mark on the Everett building at our “Construction Topping-Off” party! This is a traditional event held when the final beam is placed on a building, marking a significant milestone and celebrating the progress made on the project.

The party will be 4-6pm on March 20th, 2025. At the party there will be:

• Dick’s Drive-In Food Truck: Food will be available to purchase.
• Sign the Beam: Sign a sticker to be placed on the top beam.
• Walk the Construction Site: Wear closed-toe shoes/boots and clothes, prepared for rain and mud.
• Limited Edition T-shirts: Everett Construction-designed shirts will be available for purchase.
• Time Capsule: Contribute a small item (3-inches or less) to a time capsule.
• Special Guests: Enjoy a short ceremony with local special guests and the Mariner High School Drumline.

Street parking is available along Hwy 99 and in the lot across Center Rd from the Everett Construction Site (see marked up picture to the right).

Dick’s is aware of the safety concerns in the area. Here’s what they wrote:

“We understand that there is a history of safety concerns in this area and we are very intentional in our restaurant site design to create a safe environment for our customers and crew including extra lighting, building placement, landscaping, and security cameras. We are also collaborating with local law enforcement on best practices and plans to maintain safety in and around our restaurant.

We’re excited to serve the Everett community and look forward to being your neighbor.”
