Female Victim Fights Off Kidnapping Attempt in South Everett

The kidnapping attempt occurred near the intersection of 100th St SW and Montana Rd in South Everett

In South Everett, near 100th Street SW and Montana Road, a female victim successfully fought off a kidnapping attempt on Wednesday.

Everett Police Officers responded to an attempted kidnapping in progress in South Everett at approximately 5:25 pm on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025.

The female victim called 911 to report that she was attacked by a male who attempted to grab her and pull her into the back of his SUV.

The victim, possibly a 16-year old, was able to resist the suspect by fighting him off.

The area of the kidnapping attempt is best described as a residential area—a mix between private homes and apartments complexes.

Numerous officers responded to the location to search for the suspect, but they were unable to locate the vehicle. The suspect is described as an older heavyset white male with a short beard and salt & pepper hair.

The suspect’s vehicle was described as black Chevrolet SUV or similar looking vehicle.

This remains an active investigation and there are no further details at this time.
