No longer will wind, rain, or snow slow down pickleball activity in Everett. “Side Out Pickleball Centers” opened its first indoor facility two weeks ago, just south of Paine Field.

Side Out is planning to expand to other cities, including recently announced plans for a 26-court, 98,577-square-foot, pickleball facility in Seattle.

Everett is the first location and features eight pickleball courts, located at 2716 119th St. SW in Everett, just south of Paine Field.

The founders of Side Out are Dale Garnett of Bellevue and Frank Espinoza of Woodinville.

Garnett’s son, Connor Garnett, is ranked No. 3 in the Professional Pickleball Association rankings for men’s singles and serves as General Manager in Everett, leading the day-to-day operations.

The director of instruction is Devin Schmidt, founder of Premier Pickleball Camps and Clinics (the first-ever pickleball academy in Washington State).

One differentiating factor of Side Out is their Brite Court LED Picklelights, which offer bright court lighting without glare.

Side Out offers memberships and non-member play, plus an online court reservation system available on their website, SideOutPickleballCenters.com.

Memberships start at $50 a month, and reservations are $30 for two hours of play.

They also plan to host adult and kid clinics and have a small pickleball store at the facility.
