CommonUnity and community partners are excited to launch the 10th year of Snohomish County Emerging Leaders Awards: A Seat at the Table.

Nominations for Snohomish County Emerging Leaders Awards are open on December 2nd, 2024. Anyone is welcome to nominate candidates.

For a decade, they’ve been recognizing the voices shaping Snohomish County’s tomorrow. As they celebrate their 10th anniversary, it’s not just about honoring our current and future leaders – it’s about transforming the tables where decisions are made. Today’s emerging leaders are tomorrow’s architects of change.

In business meetings, board rooms and after work brainstorm sessions across Snohomish County, decisions are being made that will shape the community’s future. Who sits at these tables matters. The Emerging Leaders program has spent a decade ensuring these tables
reflect the diverse, dynamic, and forward-thinking spirit of your community.

This acknowledgement is not just celebrating past achievements – it’s setting the stage for the next generation of leadership. They are looking for those who dare to pull up a chair, speak up, and bring fresh perspectives to conversations that matter and are asking you to join them in nominating a candidate and to attend this year’s Snohomish County Emerging Leaders Award Ceremony at APEX Everett on April 8, 2025.

Right now, your role is to nominate those you see making a difference. Using their voice, ideas, and energy, these leaders stand out as significant contributors to their workplace and community.

Nominate a leader who is redefining what leadership looks like in our community.

Since 2015, we’ve been noticing those who use their agency and passion about this region, their work and what matters to them to make a difference. Join us in shaping the next decade of leadership as we bring together those that have been acknowledged in the past to create a
true network of leadership as they join those newly recognized.

Since 2015, their program has seen over 500 individuals nominated as emerging leaders who are now driving change across every sector of our county. Their alumni network represents the diverse tapestry of Snohomish County, bringing fresh perspectives to critical conversations about our future. Past award winners are now CEO’s, State Legislators and local Board Members.
