Everett Adds Another “Buffer Zone”

New Buffer Zone in Everett centered around the Children’s Museum

On November 15th, a new “buffer zone” will be added to Downtown Everett.

The new buffer zone centers around the Children’s Museum at 1502 Wall Street. City Staff also chose the area based on six or more “qualifying events” over the last 6 months at the nearby 7-11, Hope & Wellness, and the Marriott.

Buffer zones prevent sitting or lying on public rights of way or distributing goods or services without a permit.
