A months-long narcotics investigation resulted in the arrest of an Everett man on Friday, with support from the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force, Everett Police Anti-Crime Team, and the Snohomish County Violent Crimes Unit.
The man is alleged to have been selling drugs out of a room at a motel located in the 8400 block of Evergreen Way, Everett for months, supplying users in the Casino Road and Evergreen Way areas.
Detectives were able to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect, where he was arrested without incident.
The man was enroute to make another sale and had a supply of fentanyl on his lap when detectives stopped him. During the arrest and the subsequent search of the man’s motel room, detectives recovered a handgun and proceeds from the drug sales.
Drug seizures in this case included 5.5 pounds of fentanyl powder, 7 ounces of methamphetamine, 700 fentanyl pills (commonly known as “blues”), heroin, and crack cocaine.
Following the arrest, the suspect’s vehicle was impounded, pending seizure and forfeiture proceedings. The suspect was booked into Snohomish County Jail, and this case remains an active investigation.
