What’s In Store for the 2024 Evergreen State Fair?

The 2024 Evergreen State Fair in Monroe runs from August 22nd to the 27th, closes down on August 28th, then runs again Labor Day weekend, August 29th through September 2nd.

Fair Hours:
Gates open 10:30 am to 10:00 pm every day except the final day ends at 7pm.

Carnival Hours:
11:00 am to 11:00 pm every day except the final day ends at 7pm.

Activities:
There are hundreds of free things to do at the Fair that are included with your gate admission.  Here’s a list of a few of them to get you started on planning your day at the Fair.

  • Courtyard Stage: A variety of musical acts will take place on stage for 11 days. Acts like the Blue Mariah Band, Danny Vernon’s Illusions of Elvis, Inochi Taiko drummers, Mexican Folkloric Dancers Bailadores de Bronce, local bands, the Reptileman and more!
  • Duck races: The Great American Duck Races are back! Four daily shows are entertaining and educational. Located to the Eastside of the Museum. Come cheer on your favorite duck!
  • Roving Entertainment: From a one man band, balloon twister, to comedy – they will surprise you!
  • Peppy’s Water Palooza: Stay cool during a hot summer day at Peppy’s Water Palooza – imaginative and educational play through water. Their water tables are perfect for kids ages 0-10, PLUS parents love the provided seating and stroller friendly accommodations. Visit daily: 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. south of the Gary D. Weikel Events Center.
  • International Lumberjack Show: Watch as axes are thrown, logs are rolled and Lumberjacks race to the top of 60 foot poles! This family friendly event will be sure to have your jaws dropped. Daily shows at 12:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (no 7:00 p.m. show on Labor Day).
  • Sky Valley Antique Tractor Display: Come visit east of the Pavilion to see the large collection of antique tractors! If you have little ones, they can race around a roped off track in a tractor their own size!  Sponsored by Central Welding.
  • Aztec Indian Dancers: 2 pm & 6 pm daily (no 6 pm show on Labor Day). Heritage Area.
  • Free Fireworks on Opening Day! 9 pm in the Grandstands
  • Kid’s Farmer for a Day: In Barn #260 – Pick an Apple, Milk a Cow, Dig up a Potato, Gather Eggs – Be a Farmer.
  • Goat Playground: See goats play and frolic! East of barn #609
  • Gardening with Ciscoe: Get your gardening questions answered by Ciscoe Morris of “Gardening with Ciscoe” September 1 at 2 p.m. at the Courtyard Stage. Free with paid fair admission.
  • Circus Luminescence: A roving comedy juggling show performing August 22-27 and August 29-September 1 all over the fairgrounds!
  • Costume Characters: Interact and get your photo taken with Costume Characters from Enchanting Events such as Spider Guy, Cinderella, Ice Queen, Rapunzel, All American Captain and Bat Guy at the west gate by the Ag Display!
  • Family Fun Activity Center: “Adventure Alley” is under the Grandstands. Find family activities for all ages. Check out fun activities like Toddler Town, a straw maze, virtual reality station and Evergreen Speedway demo cars!
  • Contests: Schedule Here.  Sign-ups are first-come, first-entered on site. This year we will have egg toss, duck calling, water balloon toss, scone walk, quarter in the haystack, and frisbee throwing.

  • Saturday, August 24: Monster Trucks, Megasaurus, Teed Off Hornets, Buses, and Dwarf Cars (Doors open at 3 pm, Fan Fest 4:50 pm, show starts 5:55 pm)
  • Sunday, August 25: Monster Trucks, Megasaurus, Vintage Modifieds, Teed Off Dwarf Cars, and Buses (Doors open at 12 pm, Fan Fest 1:50 pm, show starts 2:55 pm)
  • Monday, August 26: Josh Turner (Country) (Doors open at 6:00 pm, show starts at 7:30 pm)
  • Tuesday, August 27: Martina McBride (Country) (Doors open at 6:00 pm, show starts at 7:30 pm)
  • Thursday, August 29: Tribute Trilogy (tribute bands) + lip sync battle (Doors open at 5:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm)
  • Friday, August 30: Flo Rida (Hip Hop) (Doors open at 6:00 pm, show starts at 7:30 pm)
  • Saturday, August 31:
    – Evergreen Speedway – Street Stocks, Super Stock Figure 8s, Mini Stocks, and Mini Bump to Pass, Stinger 8’s and Hornets (6 pm)
    – Rairdon’s Ram Rodeo “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” (7 pm)
  • Sunday, September 1:
    – Demo Derby, Hornets, Stingers, Youth Hornets, V8 Extremes, Boat Races, Buses, & Fireworks (6 pm)
    – Rairdon’s Ram Rodeo “Military Appreciation Night” (7 pm). Sponsored by Snohomish Co-Op.
  • Monday, September 2:
    – 425 Motorsports Auto X. Free with paid fair admission (12 pm)
    – Rairdon’s Ram Rodeo “Cowboy Crisis Fund” (2 pm)

Concert tickets can be purchased at Etix.com or at the Fair Pass Booth now through day of the concert. All race/concert tickets include fair gate admission (a $16+ value).

The Evergreen Fair Park is located in Monroe, WA at 14405 179th Ave SE, Monroe, WA 98272.

Parking:  Weekday parking is $10.00 and weekend parking is $15.00. Cash or credit card (Visa/Mastercard) are accepted. Disabled parking is available in all fairgrounds parking lots. These spaces are located closest to the entrances in all the official parking lots.
