Join us at Evergreen Arboretum on Saturday, July 22nd, from 1-3PM, as we unite families and youth-serving organizations for an extraordinary afternoon of outdoor, mid-summer fun. Admission is free, and all are welcome to partake in the excitement.
Drawing families and youth-serving groups from all corners of the community and nestled amid the picturesque landscapes of Evergreen Arboretum, this fun family event offers tons of engaging activities and experiences for everyone to enjoy.
Immerse yourself in the natural wonders art project of the Imagine Children’s Museum, create a birdhouse with Amy Duncan, challenge yourself at the Cocoon House lawn games, or discover hidden artistic expression with local artists Vickie Stokes and Laurie Crawford at their plein air painting station.
Young nature enthusiasts will be thrilled to explore the world of birds, bugs and nature, guided by experts from the Pilchuck Audubon Society, Native Plant Society and Master Gardeners of Snohomish County. Hidden treasures await your discovery with a scavenger hunt through the beautiful gardens of Evergreen Arboretum.
Get ready for a makeover with fantastic face painting with volunteers from the YMCA, lose yourself in the Everett Library puppet show, and let your creativity bloom by participating in birdhouse building with Amy Duncan and the seed planting activity planned by the Everett Garden Club.
A special highlight of Summer Fest is the bilingual interactive music session with the talented guitarist, Marco Cortes. Feel the rhythm, sing along, and celebrate the beauty of cultural diversity through music.
And don’t forget to strike a pose! Capture unforgettable memories with our delightful peep-through selfie boards, creating picture-perfect moments. Share your photos online and tag the arboretum to friends and family.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our participating agencies: Imagine Children’s Museum, YMCA, Dawson Place, Cocoon House, Everett Garden Club, Master Gardeners of Snohomish County, Everett Public Library, Native Plant Society, Pilchuck Audubon Society and artists Amy Duncan, Tom Easley, Vickie Stokes and Laurie Crawford for their invaluable contributions in making Summer Fest an event to remember.
