Editor’s Update 12:00 PM: Everett Fire has confirmed this was actually the second fire within 15 minutes this morning they had to deal with. A garage in an alley in the 1200 block of Colby was also heavily damaged by fire. That happened around 3:15 AM.
Original post 5:23 AM: An investigator with Everett Fire is on scene looking into the cause of a blaze that destroyed a detached garage in north Everett, Washington early Friday morning.
There were no injuries. The fire was reported about 3:30 AM in the 1600 block of Wetmore. Crews were able to quickly contain it to the garage.
