There they were given the keys to a 2023 Toyota Tundra pickup truck like you may have seen displayed atop the Toyota Fan Deck at Lumen Field.
Every year the Western Washington Toyota Dealers partner with the Seattle Seahawks to give away a new Toyota Tundra.
Last season fans were asked to vote for one of three military families who had been nominated from across Western Washington. After the votes were counted, the Hawley family won.
“We feel beyond blessed,” Jamie Hawley told MyEverettNews.com at the dealership this afternoon. “Our friend nominated us and we had zero expectations but two weeks later we were in the finals.”
Alex Hawley works in law enforcement, Jamie works as a civilian in the Department of the Army. The couple have four daughters and live in Snohomish.
Both Alex and Jamie are military veterans. Alex served as an Infantryman in the United States Marine Corps from 2001-2013 and Jamie is a First Sergeant in the United States Army. She served 13 years on Active Duty, with a deployment to Iraq, and now is a member of the Army Reserve with 20 total years of service.
