Sheriff’s Deputies Looking For Man Who Attempted To Kidnap Barista At Gunpoint South Of Everett

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a man who reportedly tried to force a barista into his car at gunpoint Wednesday. It happened at an espresso stand on highway 99 south of the Everett city limits. Here’s a brief SCSO put out on social media in asking for the public’s help.

The suspect was driving an orange Mazda, The attempted abduction happened about 12:15 PM.

Deputies are looking for a suspect involved in an attempted kidnapping at a coffee stand in the 13500 block of Hwy 99.

The victim, an adult female, was not injured and called 9-1-1. Deputies located the suspect vehicle and the firearm at an apartment complex on 128th street. A K-9 track was not successful.

Suspect description: White heavyset male, around 40 YO, white shirt, black baseball hat. Appears to be bald (or very short hair) underneath his hat. He was driving an orange Mazda. The vehicle, with a firearm inside, was located & impounded as evidence. Suspect is outstanding.
