Investigators are on the scene of a two-alarm house fire in the 11200 block of E. Ibberson Drive near the north end of Silver Lake in Everett, Washington.
At this writing two people were being assisted by the Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross and there were no reports of injuries.
The fire was reported just before 10 AM and a large column of smoke could be seen from blocks away.
Arriving units found heavy fire at the back of the house and the call was upgraded to a second alarm.
The initial fire attack was conducted by Everett and South County Firefighters.
The investigation may take some time as there was extensive damage to the back of the structure and there is a lot of debris for investigators to work through as they try to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
