Initial Report: 12:25 AM 04/30/2023:
Everett Police and Fire were called after reports of shots fired around 10:45 PM Saturday night.
Around 10:45 PM Sno911 began receiving calls about shots fired and then that a person had been shot. Arriving officers found a person with gunshot wounds and attempted life-saving measures.
Medics with Everett Fire arrived and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Patrol officers conducted a search for the suspect which included a K-9 deployment but as of this writing a suspect had not been taken into custody.
Major Crimes Detectives are expected to be at the scene for several hours interviewing potential witnesses and gathering evidence.
