Everett Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting Outside South Everett Restaurant

Medics treated the victim who was transported by ambulance to the hospital.


Police conducted a high-risk stop after spotting the suspect vehicle on Evergreen Way.

Everett Police are looking into the circumstances following reports of a parking lot accident and then a shooting in the 9500 block of 19th Avenue SE early Sunday morning.

Just before 2:00 AM Sno911 received calls of an accident followed by reports of a person shot in a vehicle behind a restaurant.

The suspect vehicle reportedly left the area. Arriving Everett Police Officers found one person who had apparently been shot.

Medics were called for that person who was later transported by ambulance to an Everett area hospital.

A few minutes later an Everett Police officer located the suspect vehicle on Evergreen Way and began following it northbound.

With assistance from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, a high risk stop was made on the vehicle at Casino and Evergreen Way and two people were detained. The suspect vehicle was impounded.

Everett Police confirmed to MyEverettNews.com Sunday morning that one person was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of 1st degree assault with a firearm.

That person is expected to make an appearance in Everett District Court on Monday afternoon.

The shooting victim’s injuries were described as non-life threatening.
