This Saturday, April 22, is Earth Day! To celebrate planet earth, we’ve planned three events at the library:

☑️ Repair Cafe at the Evergreen Branch

☑️ Repair What You Wear Workshop at the Main Library

☑️ Let’s Grow! for kids 6-14 at the Main Library
 
At the Port of Everett it’s Marina and Jetty Island Cleanup Day!
Happy Earth Day! Celebrate by giving back to your waterfront by joining us for the Port of Everett’s 29th annual Marina & Jetty Island Cleanup Day next Saturday, April 22.

Check-in starts at 9 a.m. at Port Gardner Landing. Volunteers will pick up around the Port of Everett Marina until noon. Transportation will be provided to and from the island. Supplies and snacks provided. Free T-shirts for volunteers while they last!
 
Earth Day Free Family Fun at Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens

What happens when celebrating Earth Day and National Poetry Month both happen in April? Find out on April 22nd from 10 AM-12 PM at the arboretum. Little sprouts will learn all about plants that are loved by our favorite pollinators – bees – and take home pots filled with seeds to encourage the buzz. Then craft up bookmarks with beads and nature poems to read. See what we did there? All are welcome and the giggles are free.
