Parks and Quality of Life committee meets at 5 PM with the full City Council meeting at 6:30 PM

A full agenda for the City Council in Everett, Washington today.

Tonight’s agenda includes introduction and first readings of ordinances covering tax breaks and lowering impact fees for low-income housing, a vote on allowing two-days of mini hydro races on Silver Lake, 1st reading on an ordinance prohibiting public consumption of controlled substances within the Everett city limits.

There is also expected to be a briefing and 1st Reading to adopt An Ordinance Relating To Public Health And Safety Creating Service Facility Buffer Zones For Social Services providers, Shelter And Temporary Housing Providers, And Other High Impact Areas And Amending Title 9 Of The Everett Municipal Code By Enacting A New Chapter 9.54 EMC
 
Prior to the full Everett City Council meeting at 6:30 PM there will be a meeting of the City Council’s Parks and Quality of Life Committee from 5 PM – 6 PM. While public comment is not taken at committee meetings, they are worth a watch for the sheer amount of information given to the committee to take back to the full council. Here’s what their agenda looks like tonight.

¡ Persons seeking to comment on non-agenda items may be asked to submit the comments in writing if the comment does not address an issue of broad public interest.
