50 Volunteers Needed To Help With Parade On July 4th In Everett, Washington

Got an urgent message to pass along from the committee putting on the 4th of July Parade in Everett, Washington this year. We need 50 people to volunteer for the day of the parade! Here’s the full message.

4th of July Parade

50 volunteers are needed to commit by April 23rd.

While planning for bringing back the Everett 4th of July parade continues, we are in desperate need of ‘day of’ volunteers to make sure this happens.

We need at least 50 people to volunteer for ‘day of work’, such as marshals (staging and walking with entries), pacers (volunteers a block or so apart to make sure the parade keeps moving), staffing barricades (to let entries in and out of the parade at the entrance/exit), and logistics (check in table, staffing a comfort station).

The time frame is approximately 9am-1pm on July 4, and there will be training sessions well ahead of the 4th.

To feel confident the parade can actually occur, we need folks to volunteer by April 23, at our website https://everett4thofjuly.org/
