Police Investigating After Man Reports Being Shot In Downtown Everett, Washington

The man was reportedly shot near this area just before 3:00 AM.

The victim was contacted at the emergency room by Everett Police after being dropped off by a private vehicle.

Not a lot of details as police in Everett, Washington investigate a shooting that was reported early Friday morning in the city’s downtown.

Just before 3:00 AM a man reportedly walked into a convenience store at the corner of Everett and Colby and told the clerk he had been shot. He then sat down on the floor.

Before officers could arrive the man received a ride to the hospital. He was admitted to Providence Regional Medical Center.

Police officers located shell casings at the scene and contacted the victim at the hospital. The victim is expected to survive his injuries.

At this writing no other information was available but officers were gathering evidence and looking at video.
