Fire On Semi Hauling Hay Slows Traffic Into Everett For Hours
Editor’s Update 12:10 PM: The Washington State Patrol reports all lanes are now open. Crews will continue working on the shoulder.

11:00 AM Update: Progress is being made but back-ups of more than five miles have been reported on northbound I-5 into Everett, Washington at around 112th street following a fire in a semi-truck hauling hay Thursday morning.
The fire was reported shortly before 7:00 AM.
According to WSP the fire has kept re-igniting and crews from South County Fire have had to use tenders to bring water to the fire.
Traffic northbound into Everett has been snarled all morning and delays are likely into this afternoon.
