The Everett Fire Department has been a leader in raising funds during the annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society LLS Firefighter Stairclimb. Fundraising efforts have just begun for 2023 and Everett Firefighters are in 10th place as of this writing. We’ve followed their progress over the years as they raise funds both online and in front of the Everett Costco on 19th Avenue SE. If you’re able and would like to donate, please see below how you can help.

Your Everett Firefighters are back at it again! Raising money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Because of you, our community, Everett Fire has finished in the top for fundraising efforts, and they need your help again! You can donate to the Everett Fire Team or to an individual firefighter by visiting here.

WHAT IS THE LLS FIREFIGHTER STAIRCLIMB?
The LLS Firefighter Stairclimb is the world’s largest on-air stair climb competition and annual fundraiser held at the tallest building in Seattle, the Columbia Center. 2,000 firefighters from around the world will climb up the second tallest skyscraper west of the Mississippi in full turnout gear, weighing over 60 pounds, while on-air. Every step represents moving closer to finding a cure. Although this is an extreme test of physical endurance, it pales in comparison to what blood cancer patients endure. All proceeds raised directly benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Thank you for your time, consideration, and sincere generosity. We climb because beating cancer is in our blood.
