Retreat Replaces Everett City Council Meeting This Wednesday

January 23, 2023

Everett Government

Mayor Cassie Franklin and the Everett City Council.

This Wednesday the City Council in Everett, Washington will hold their annual retreat in lieu of their regular council meeting.

The public is invited to observe the meeting, but public input and comment will not be taken.

The annual retreat is the chance for council members to discuss how they work together, set their rules for their meetings and work out challenges to communication and operating procedures.

There has been friction between council members and at times things have been heated. The retreat is also a chance to work out conflicts so the council can accomplish its work.
