Tonight there will be an in-person meeting and Tuesday night a virtual meeting so the Everett Housing Authority can share plans for transforming the Baker Heights Housing project into what is being called the Park District. Here’s more information on the meetings and you can click this link to a website with more detail on what is planned for the neighborhood.

As you may know, the Everett Housing Authority (EHA) is currently exploring opportunities to transform its Baker Heights site into the Park District, a 15-acre planned development with up to 1,500 mixed-income housing units, new community-centered retail, open spaces, and neighborhood amenities near public transit.

As our neighbor, we would like to update you on our current plans and what’s ahead and have scheduled two community meetings offering a chance to learn more and discuss any comments, questions or concerns you may have.

This website will be a place you can visit for information about the project and to learn more about our upcoming meetings. At any time, please feel free to reach out to us with comments or questions.

We will share a PowerPoint presentation during the meeting. To see the presentation, you will need to use the Zoom details associated with the meeting and be at a computer.

You can use audio from your computer, or there is also a dial-in function. If you choose to dial-in, you will have the presentation on your computer and the audio on your phone.

Participants will be muted during the presentation to ensure a smooth presentation that can be heard by all.

Following the presentation, questions will be taken by entering questions into the CHAT function of the meeting.

These instructions will be repeated at the start of each virtual open house event.
