EPD Ties Suspect Charged In June 20th Double-Homicide To May 3rd Storage Unit Murder

A shooting was reported about 6:15 AM on May 3rd at the Storehouse.

Today an Everett District Court Judge found probable cause to hold a man charged in the June 20th, 2022 double-homicide that occurred on Lexington Avenue in Everett, Washington on $2 million dollars bail for a murder at an Everett storage facility on May 3rd of last year.

The man is currently in the Snohomish County Jail on $5 million dollars bond for the June 20th murders.

Today Everett Police released the following information on the May homicide and robbery:
 
Major Crimes Unit detectives have developed probable cause to charge a male with murder stemming from a shooting that occurred on the morning of May 3, 2022, at the Storehouse Ministorage located at 3816 Smith Ave.

The suspect has been in custody at the Snohomish County Jail since June 21, 2022, after he was arrested and booked for two counts of Murder in the 2nd degree and one count of Assault in the 1st degree in connection with an unrelated double homicide that took place in the 2000 block of Lexington Ave.

Since the May of 2022 murder at the Storehouse Ministorage, Major Crimes detectives have continued to work that case to identify the suspect in this incident. Detectives used witness statements, video footage, and other evidence to successfully identify the male involved in the shooting. As a result of their investigation, detectives gathered sufficient probable cause to charge the suspect with an additional count of Murder in the 2nd degree and Robbery in the 1st degree.

The suspect remains in custody at the Snohomish County Jail.
