Contractor crews will perform work on northbound I-5 in Everett on Monday night, Jan. 16, to stabilize some concrete panels between the exits to Pacific Avenue and Marine View Drive (mileposts 193-194).

The right two lanes will be closed starting at 10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16. Only the left lane will be open to traffic until 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, when all lanes will reopen to traffic.

The work is part of WSDOT’s project to rehabilitate northbound I-5 between Lowell Road and Marine View Drive.

NOTE: Plan now for a delay this weekend to fix additional panels that caused a major traffic headache last Thursday through Everett.

Friday night, Jan. 20, to Monday morning, Jan. 23, northbound I-5 in Everett will be reduced to one lane near Marine View Drive for emergency concrete panel replacement. Exact hours of the lane reduction will be announced Tuesday, Jan. 17.

People who are traveling can get real-time traffic information on mobile phones with the WSDOT traffic app and by following the WSDOT traffic Twitter feed.
