Everett Police Find Felon With Guns, Counterfeit $100.00 Bills And Fentanyl In North Everett

Last week, our Violent Crime Reduction Unit (VCRU) completed a follow-up investigation into a robbery incident which occurred in the 1300 block of Lombard Ave. They gathered information that led to probable cause for a male who also had an active DOC warrant as well as information regarding the suspect vehicle. A few days later, VCRU observed the male leaving the original incident location in the suspect vehicle and he was driving with a suspended license.

VCRU followed the male until he stopped his vehicle at a local convenience store then pinned in the vehicle. The male fled on foot, and after a short foot pursuit, he was taken into custody without injury.

The male had a firearm, fentanyl pills and counterfeit $100 bills on his person. There was an additional firearm on the floorboard of the vehicle, in plain view. The vehicle had a fake rear license plate made up by piecing multiple license plates together. After running the vehicle’s VIN, VCRU discovered the vehicle had been stolen from Tacoma. The vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant.

The male was booked on 2 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm 2nd degree, 1 count of taking a motor vehicle without permission 1st degree, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, obstructing a public servant and driving while license suspended 3rd degree.

The search warrant was later approved for the vehicle, and the following items were discovered inside:
-Pistol
-Methamphetamine
-A digital scale, baggies and other evidence of drug dealing
A third count of unlawful possession of a firearm 2nd degree and a second count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute will be added to the male’s charges.
