Transit Service, Garbage Pickup Suspended In Everett, WA Due To Weather

The weather is causing issues in Everett, Washington this morning. We will post updates as we hear of things here:

  • 8:00 AM update from City of Everett: – Consistent low temps made it difficult to dissolve ice and compact snow. As a result, we focused on sanding stop areas at intersections and hills instead of plowing.

    Stats:
    – 110 yards of sand/salt applied
    – 5 miles plowed,

    6:30 AM: Due to unsafe road conditions all Everett Transit routes and services are temporarily suspended until 8:00 AM, this service suspension includes Everett Para Transit. Everett Transit staff will continue closely monitoring roads for snow and ice, and service will begin as soon as conditions allow.
    10:45 AM Update: [Update] Effective Dec. 23, 2022 | 10:00 AM | No additional updates at this time.
    Customer Service Center [update]
    The Customer Service Center at Everett Station is closed. The office will reopen Dec. 27, 2022, 7:30 AM. For customers looking to refill their ORCA cards, there are two ORCA kiosks located and available at Everett Station.

    [Update] Effective Dec. 23, 2022 | 8:00 AM | Everett Transit Routes 7 and 12 will resume service along with Everett Para Transit service. Delays are expected for Routes 7 and 12, and we thank you for your patience and understanding. Everett Para Transit customers, many businesses/offices remain closed due to severe weather conditions, we thank you for your understanding if this is the case for your destination.

  • For Rubatino Refuse Customers in Everett: Due to continued severe road conditions, the decision to not run any routes today was made. We apologize sincerely for any inconvenience this may cause. We will take double for you on your next scheduled service day when road conditions allow. Safety of the public, our customers and the drivers is our number one priority.

  • Community Transit issued the following alert: Until further notice, ALL Community Transit bus service is suspended due to hazardous road conditions. There will be no service to Seattle or within Snohomish County.
    We monitor road conditions hourly and hope to add service as soon as it is safe for our riders and employees. Stay warm, stay safe!
