EPOA meal

More than 200 seniors enjoyed a traditional holiday meal in 2018.

For years it had been known as the Senior Dinner and started in 1973.

Members of the Everett Police Officers Association, retired Everett Police officers, members of the EPD command staff and family members of all three groups got together annually to prepare and serve a holiday meal to local seniors on a Sunday afternoon in December.

Like many other traditions, the Pandemic stopped the meal but we’re happy to let you know it is back with a new name, The Annual Holiday Feast.

This year the meal will happen this Sunday December 11th at the VOA Carl Gipson Center and includes ham, mac n cheese, shrimp cocktail and more, with two servings: 12pm and 2pm.

Prior sign-up is required by stopping in or calling the Carl Gipson Center.

The center is located in downtown Everett, Washington at 3025 Lombard Avenue. The phone number is (425) 818-2784.

Again the feast is free and open to both seniors and those in the community who could use a meal. There will also be live music and entertainment.

You simply have to pre-register so they know how much to prepare.
