Meet The Owner – Tifanys Nails & Finnish Therapy

While she’s done this for more than twenty years, Tifany Elliot says there’s no greater feeling than seeing the relief on a customer’s face after healing begins to take hold.

“I love to heal,” Tifany said with a smile when she welcomed us recently into her salon at 5705 Evergreen Way in the Gilmore Business Center.

“My mom taught me to take care of my hands and feet,” Tifany said, “My grandmother taught me how to heal.”

She’s about to mark three years in her current location in central Everett where she offers much more than a quick polish. “It can be a commitment for people as I help them heal their hands and feet and yes I even give my customers homework!”

Using therapeutic foot massage and reflexology Tifany says she can pinpoint toxic pockets and break down turbulence. She also works on people’s ingrown toenails, infections and foot fungus. “People don’t understand how important their feet are,” she explained. “I help people with things they may be afraid to talk about with a podiatrist.”

Men are also an increasing part of her business. While it used to be a ratio of 75 women to 25 men it is now more like 60-40. The salon is well appointed but private and she says there’s no open viewing area or big outside windows for people on the outside to stare into like you can see at many salons.

“My average appointment is two hours,” she said. “I pamper my customers and have researched the best products to use both for the patients and also for myself. I’m intensive, not quick. I monitor for toxins in all of the products I use trying to get as close to natural as possible and only do gels, no acrylics.”

In addition to manicures pedicures and reflexology, Tifany also offers teeth whitening, permanent makeup, (micro blade/microshade.) H.A. injections, and aromatherapy.

Tifany works by appointment and is closed on Monday and Wednesday. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday hours are 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday appointment hours are 10 AM – 3 PM.
