Police Blotter

An Everett Police Sergeant circles where shell casings were found.

Pictures are taken before the shells are collected.

While officers dealt with the shots call out front, others recovered an occupied stolen vehicle in the back of the location.

There appear to be bullet holes above and next to the door of a room.

Initial report 10:00 AM: It’s been quite the start to the Thanksgiving Holiday for police in Everett, Washington.

Just before 7:00 AM multiple officers responded to a report of shots fired at the motel at 100th and Evergreen Way in south Everett.

Arriving officers found nearly a dozen shell casings in the parking lot and there appeared to be bullet holes around the door frame of one of the rooms.

While officers were on scene they came across an occupied stolen vehicle which appeared to be unrelated to the shots fired call.

One person was booked into the Snohomish County Jail in relation to that discovery.

About 45 minutes later Everett Police responded to a report of a two people beating a person near the old Bank of America building in the 8400 block of Evergreen Way.

Witnesses reported the person may have also been run over by the suspect’s vehicle.

That person was transported by medics to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Around the same time, there was a separate report of a shot fired from that general area into a vehicle driving on Evergreen.

The bullet reportedly went through the car and thankfully no one was hit.

Everett Police continue to follow up on the assault and shots fired calls. At this point we are not aware of any arrests in those cases.

As always, anyone with information on these crimes is asked to call the Everett Police Tip line at (425) 257-8450.
