Every Wednesday we’ll update you on the Wintertide happenings coming up as the City of Everett’s Wintertide Season gets underway.

Wintertide isn’t just one event and its not limited to downtown Everett but encompasses all the ways people in Everett, Washington can enjoy holiday cheer including Friendsgiving celebrations, special shopping opportunities, music, events, merriment, experiences and more lasting all the way into the New Year.

Friday November 25th: The Wintertide kickoff tree lighting ceremony is presented by Coastal Community Bank:

Come celebrate the magic of Wintertide
Everett’s Wintertide season kicks off on Friday, Nov. 25 with the annual downtown tree lighting celebration.

Bundle up, and bring family and friends for a fun evening of holiday cheer. The fun begins at 4 p.m. and Santa rolls in at 5 p.m. with Everett Fire and he’ll hit the switch to light up all of Everett’s downtown lighting displays.

Stay for cocoa and cookies, get your photo with Santa and enjoy holiday music and snow machines.

When: Friday, Nov. 25, 4 p.m., lights come on at 5 p.m.
Where: Colby Avenue, between Hewitt and California

Parking: Be generous and save the street parking for those with limited mobility. Park in Everett’s FREE parking garage, Everpark. It’s smack-dab in the middle of all the action.
 
Saturday November 26th: North Pole Party at Imagine Children’s Museum
Nov. 26
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Head to the newly remodeled (and massively expanded) Imagine Children’s Museum for a fun day of holiday cheer for the kiddos. This event includes a tree lighting, story time with Mrs. Clause, holiday crafts and projects, games, and there’s a rumor that a special cookie-loving, jolly-ole someone will make an appearance.

Friday November 25th Black Friday and Saturday November 26th Small Business Saturday with Holiday deals all over Everett, Washington

The Crafty B’s Black Friday & Small Business Saturday Pop-Up Vendor Market
Nov. 25 – 26
9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
The Crafty B’s Holiday Vendor Market is back inside the Everett Mall. Held on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, you can shop from local vendors and find wonderful handmade gifts for everyone on your list. Hit up other stores in the mall while you’re there, grab a selfie with Santa and a cookie from the local cookie icon, Midnight Cookie Co.
