Snohomish County And Sheriff’s Office Sign New Labor Agreement

This in tonight from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office:

County Executive Somers, Sheriff Fortney, and Deputy Sheriff’s Association President Krajcar signed a new labor contract today.

This contract is the largest in over two decades and includes a 18.5% pay increase and, for the first time ever, matching deferred comp.

Deputy Sheriffs will make $80-104k annually, without incentives.

Additional incentives include: up to 6% for two specialty assignments, 3.5% for AA degree, 7% for BA, and 9% for MA degree. Deputies also receive a take home vehicle and additional longevity pay ranging from 2-11%.
