All southbound lanes of Evergreen Way at Everett Mall Way were closed as Everett Firefighters freed a driver trapped during a crash early Wednesday morning.
The crash happened around 6 AM and involved two vehicles that hit head-on.
One driver suffered life-threatening injuries and Everett Firefighters had to use special equipment to free that person before medics transported to Providence Regional Medical Center.
Traffic Safety Detectives with Everett Police were called out to investigate the crash.
The southbound lanes were shut down for a couple of hours.
