We had a couple of inquiries on this and here’s a release out this afternoon from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

shootingAround 1:15 a.m., deputies responded to a shooting in the 120 block of 127th Street SE. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, a 28-year-old man, with a gunshot wound to his head. Deputies provided first aid until medics arrived. The 28-year-old victim was transported by aid to Providence Regional Medical Center with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives responded to the scene.

During the investigation, detectives discovered a female suspect knocked on the victim’s door around 1 a.m. An adult female answered the door and two male suspects pushed their way inside. There was an exchange of gunfire between the suspects and the victim, and the victim was wounded outside the apartment. The suspects fled from the scene.

The victim is not cooperating with the investigation and detectives believe this is gang related.

This remains an active investigation.
