Everett PD Searches For Gunman After Lunchtime Shooting At Henry M. Jackson Park

The victim was taken by medic unit to an Everett hospital.

Officers follow a K-9 out of the park.

An Everett Fire Department drone is launched.

A major crimes detective talks with patrol officers at the park.

Just after 1 PM Monday afternoon Everett Police were called to reports of gunfire near the playground at Henry M. Jackson Park at 17th and State Street in north Everett.

On arrival they found one man who had been shot. Medics were called and the man was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center.

Everett Police used patrol officers, a K-9 unit and drones to look for the shooter who was reported to have fled the park on foot.

As of this writing a suspect had not been located and major crimes detectives were arriving on the scene to continue the investigation.
