Youth Go Paint Day Creates Some Amazing Art In Everett

Today was Youth Go Paint Day as part of Going All City Northwest 2022 in Everett, Washington.

About 40 kids ranging in age from 8 – 14 were teamed with an experienced graffiti artist to create their own vision on a mural.

The kids picked a three or four letter word and then chose the style and did a mock up. They then worked with an artist who helped them bring their vision to life.

Here are some photos of the work done today and the finished mural. Hopefully it will be transferred to a nearby location to add to the other 30 amazing murals being created around Everett this weekend. Click photo to enlarge. You can see more photos and reels of today’s work on Hyper’s Instagram page. Hyper says he plans to hold more classes for youth in Everett and Snohomish County this fall. Follow his Instagram for more details.

It began Saturday morning at 10 AM as a blank canvas.

Throughout the day young artists added a word to the wall.
