Man Hospitalized After Early Morning Shooting In Downtown Everett

Officers gathered evidence on 23rd street.

Everett Police are investigating a shooting early Saturday morning in downtown Everett.

Everett Police Acting Public Information Officer Ora Hamel told MyEverettNews.com calls came into Sno911 about 4:42 AM of multiple shots fired in the area of 25th and Colby.

Officers arriving in that area were flagged down by a man in his fifties who had been shot multiple times. His vehicle had numerous bullet holes and was in the middle of Colby.

Police on scene rendered aid until medics with Everett Fire arrived and transported the man to Providence Regional Medical Center where at the time of this writing he was in stable condition.

Police were seen gathering evidence on 23rd street between Hoyt and Rucker. At this time officers are canvassing the neighborhood for witnesses or video.
