Everett’s Port Gardner Neighborhood Association is hosting its first annual Community Yard Sale event on July 23rd from 9-2p. Building off of the successful Mother of All Garage Sales Event in north Everett, the Port Gardner Neighborhood Association is coordinating a similar sale where participants can pay to join the event and receive an official sign and have the location of their sale included on a master map. To support the local community, a percentage all sign-up proceeds will be donated to Jackson Elementary PTA.

“This is a great opportunity for neighbors in Port Gardner to join together for a community-wide yard sale event,” said Andrea Tucker, Chair of the Port Gardner Neighborhood Association. “Everyone loves a good yard sale in the summer, and this is a great way to make it fun for the whole neighborhood.”

“As we start to emerge from two difficult years of the pandemic, a community yard sale is a great way for neighbors to reengage with each other and clear out some space in the garage too,” said Everett City Councilmember Paula Rhyne, whose district also includes the Port Gardner Neighborhood. “I’m proud to call the Port Gardner Neighborhood my home neighborhood and have no doubt that this event will be the first of many.”

Neighbors are also welcome to join the Port Gardner Neighborhood Association meetings on the second Monday of every month at 7p at the Sequoia High School cafeteria.
