Everett Police Investigate Sunday Morning Shooting

Editor’s Update Monday 06/20/2020 9:30 AM: Everett Police released the following update this morning.
– Major Crimes detectives are investigating a shooting that left one in critical condition

Just after 9:00 a.m. yesterday, Officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired near Colby Ave and 44th ST SE after an altercation in a parking area.

When officers arrived on the scene, they located a male in his thirties in the parking area with apparent gunshot wounds. Officers quickly rendered aid and were able to keep the victim stable until Everett Fire Department medics arrived and transported him to the hospital. The suspect fled before police arrived.

Major Crimes detectives are still investigating the relationship between the victim and the suspect and the circumstances around the shooting. The victim is in critical but stable condition at the hospital. Anyone with information is asked to call the tip line at (425) 257-8450.

Everett Police on scene at 44th and Colby.

Not many details as the investigation is just getting underway. Everett Police are investigating a shooting that happened in the area of 44th and Colby.

Sno 911 received a report of shots fired in that area around 9 AM. Arriving Everett patrol officers found a victim who had been shot. That person was rushed by medics to Providence Regional Medical Center. No other information available at this time. We’ll update as more details are released by Everett PD.
