Law Enforcement Torch Run For Special Olympics To Come Through Everett Early Friday Morning

From 2016 Everett Police turn the torch over to Mukilteo Police officers at 75th and Evergreen Way.

In 2018 the Everett Police Team said they were the number 1 torch running crew.

Word in that the Special Olympics Torch Run will be coming through Everett early Friday morning. We’ve brought you photos in the past but the run hasn’t happened the last couple of years due to the Pandemic. Here’s more from Everett Police about the run and the route through Everett.

This Friday, June 17th, we have the honor of participating in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Washington as our officers run the torch through Everett!

We will be receiving the torch at 5:20 a.m. at 16th St and Broadway Ave and will be running it all the way to Evergreen Way and 75th St! You can register to join us or donate here!
 
We will be running the following route, feel free to join us and run or walk all of it, a portion of it, or come cheer us on along the way!
 

  • Receive torch at 16th St and Broadway Ave
  • South On Broadway Ave
  • West on Hewitt Ave
  • South on Wetmore Ave, past Everett Police Headquarters
  • West on Pacific Ave
  • South on Rucker Ave
  • Continue South through Rucker Ave turning into Evergreen Way to 75th St, hand off the Torch to Mukilteo Police Department
