Crash Shuts Down Glenwood Avenue – Power Out In Neighborhood

A vehicle ended up off the road in a yard.

Editor’s Update 9:30 AM: Everett Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident. They have confirmed that a man is his 30s was killed and another man in his 30s is in the hospital with serious injuries. No other information is expected until next week.
Editor’s Update 6:00 AM:The roadway has reopened.

Glenwood Avenue is closed in both directions between the 4700 to 5000 blocks.

About 1000 people are without power in west Everett.

Everett Police Traffic Safety Detectives have been called to the 4800 block of Glenwood to investigate a collision that Everett Police say includes a fatality. Here’s a Tweet sent out by EPD just after 1 AM Saturday morning.

Glenwood Ave will be closed between the 4800-5000 blocks while Traffic Safety Detectives investigate a collision with a reported fatality. Please use an alternative route.

Power is out for about 1000 Snohomish PUD customers in the area and they have a crew on scene. No word when power will be restored.
