If you’ve always wanted to adopt a Husky, here’s your chance as the Everett Animal Shelter holds a special adoption event this Sunday. Here are the details.

Make sure you read the rules on what to bring if you want to adopt.

Thinking about adopting a dog? March on down to our Huskies on Parade Adoption Event and meet all our available Huskies and Husky mixes!

The shelter is currently caring for about 20 Huskies, and while these amazing dogs have some really great qualities, most don’t thrive in the shelter environment and our goal is to get them into new homes as quickly as we can. We’re offering reduced adoption fees of $125 ($50 off) and the opportunity to foster to adopt.

Even if a Husky may not have been on your list, we encourage you to come meet our dogs and learn about their unique qualities that make them wonderful companions. After the parade, you’ll get to meet and interact with any Husky you’d like!

Here are the details:

• Sunday, June 12th, 11am-1pm – Husky parade will be promptly at 11am!
• Everett Animal Shelter located at 333 Smith Island Rd, Everett 98201 – event will be outside, rain or shine!

• If you think you may want to adopt, please bring:
o All resident dogs that live in your home for dog meet and greets
o If you’re a renter, proof from your landlord that a Husky is allowed to live on their property

• Applications, adoption fees and resident dog meet and greets will be required to adopt or foster to adopt.
